Doom Flamingo’s “Live At Sugarshack Sessions” hides some very juicy tracks, but the pick of the bunch is definitely Blind Spots. Soulful, classy and beguiling in its ability to take you away to another dimension. Understated and sounding like it was recorded in a basement apartment somewhere, Homer’s “So Get Up” took a while to get going, but has become a listeners favorite.
DX Heaven is sweet blend of Broken Beat and Neo-Soul that’s a juicy as a fruit market. BeMyFiasco and Katori Walker deliver the beautiful “Free“. (No not the Deneice Williams version). But it’s not far off in the quality of the laid back groove. We had to finish off the chart with The Visioneers melodic masterpiece “Still Making Memories“.
