Is Contemporary Rare Groove even a thing? If it is.. then The Freedom Foundation have perfected it with “Love Is Love”. Oddisee gives us hope that real hip-hop can still be found if you look hard enough. 🙂 Hope Tala’s “Bad Love God” is the best kind of different, it grows on you like Kudzo on Miracle-Gro. We need an answer why ddddeeeellllaaa’s “Mellow Out” is only 2:26, but we appreciate it for the time we get. And like London buses, we get two great hip-hop tracks one after another. Lupe Fiasco’s “Bigfoot” is sweeeeet!!
